Terms of Use

Effective date: Sep 4, 2025

Last updated: Oct 19, 2025

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the TiniTasker service ("Service"), provided by TiniTasker Inc. By subscribing to or using TiniTasker, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Can Use TiniTasker

TiniTasker is designed for Canadian businesses, especially those offering professional or service-based work. You may only use TiniTasker if:

  • - Your business is located in Canada, and
  • - You are legally authorized to act on behalf of that business.

Only business owners can sign up and create a new organization in TiniTasker.

We may suspend or close accounts that do not meet these requirements.

2. Your Account and Access

  • - Only organization owners can create and activate a new organization.
  • - Owners can invite employees via email.
  • - Invited employees can sign in only after accepting the invitation.
  • - You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe.
  • We may suspend or deactivate access if we believe your account is compromised or being misused.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

TiniTasker is a subscription-based service priced at $100 CAD per month (plus applicable taxes). All payments are securely processed through Stripe. Taxes (GST/HST/PST/QST) are automatically calculated based on your business location.

  • Billing: Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
  • No Refunds: All sales are final. No refunds or credits for partial months.
  • After Cancellation: You retain read-only access to your data for up to 2 years after your subscription ends.

You are responsible for all charges associated with your account.

4. Fair Use Policy

TiniTasker is designed for normal business activity. To keep the service reliable and affordable for everyone, we apply a Fair Use Policy covering features that can create high operational costs — such as sending emails, uploading files, and using automated notifications.

Unreasonable or excessive use that goes beyond typical small-business needs (for example, sending thousands of emails daily or uploading excessive amounts of data) may lead to:

  • Temporary usage limits,
  • Additional fees, or
  • Account suspension.

We'll make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking any action.

5. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms,
  • You fail to pay your subscription fees,
  • You abuse or overload the system, or
  • You use TiniTasker for illegal or prohibited purposes.

You may cancel your subscription anytime via the web portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

6. Data Retention

When your subscription ends:

  • You keep read-only access to your account for up to 2 years,
  • After that period, your data may be permanently deleted from our systems.

We recommend exporting your records before the end of the retention period.

7. Maintenance and Updates

We regularly perform updates and improvements to keep TiniTasker secure and reliable. Some maintenance and updates may occur during weekend hours (Saturday or Sunday nights), which may result in temporary unavailability.

We aim to minimize disruptions whenever possible.

8. Taxes and Accounting Disclaimer

TiniTasker automatically applies GST, HST, PST, and QST rates based on your business location. While we make every effort to keep tax rates accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that tax calculations are error-free or suitable for your specific business needs.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying the accuracy of all tax information, and
  • Filing your own tax returns and reports.

We recommend consulting a qualified accountant or tax advisor.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or through the app.

Continuing to use TiniTasker after updates means you accept the new Terms.

10. Service Availability and Support

We do our best to keep TiniTasker reliable and available. However, there may be occasional outages, maintenance, or issues outside our control. We're not responsible for downtime, data loss, or interruptions caused by third-party services, internet providers, or external events.

For help, contact our support team at [email protected].

11. Limitation of Liability

TiniTasker is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TiniTasker Inc. and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim will never exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months of your subscription.

All software, content, designs, and trademarks used in TiniTasker are owned by TiniTasker Inc.

You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our materials without written permission.
